IDENTIFYING GOD’S INTEREST IN OTHERS (II)

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,” Psalms 92:13-14 NKJV

The house of God has suffered all kinds of defilement since time immemorial. From Israel’s golden calves to temples turned into dens of thieves, from false prophets exploiting the weak to ministers who sought their own glory, this sacred dwelling has often been mishandled. Yet through every generation, God continues to restore His house and call His people back to Himself.

The church of Jesus Christ is not merely a human institution; it is God’s dwelling among His people, a living witness of His redemption on earth. To be planted in the house of the Lord is to be rooted in His purpose and nurtured by His presence within His people. It is not a matter of attendance but of abiding, and finding your place in the body where Christ is the Head.

Granted there will be some hurt seeing men are flawed and God is dealing with us all at different stages, but when you are truly planted, you are beyond conviction but settled into persuasion.
Child of God, the flourishing of one believer, when rightly rooted, becomes nourishment for many. Do not undermine the power of the body. You may leave a church, but do not leave THE church, which is His body.

Belonging to a healthy church is not merely for your advantage—it is a testimony of God’s design for mutual growth, shared burdens, and collective witness. When every believer takes their place in the soil of divine fellowship, the house of the Lord becomes a living expression of His heart toward humanity.

Prayer: My Father, I thank You for planting me in Your house and surrounding me with a people who reflect Your grace. I am rooted, and blessed to be a blessing. My presence in Your church adds life, faith, and fruit to the community You have placed me in. By your spirit we are kept, and growing in grace and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
