HEARING HIS VOICE

There is no reason to ever think that hearing the voice of God is not possible for you. The same God that gave clear instructions in scripture like: ‘rise and go to the street called straight’ (Acts 9:11Acts 9:11And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,), is the same God today able to instruct you on where to work, how to serve, how to treat your wife or raise your children.

Richard J.Foster in one of his classics says: “ALL who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and savior are the universal priesthood of God able to enter the Holy of Holies and converse with the living God.” In other words, you the born again believer is able to pray for nations, prophecy into your life according to His will, make a petition of what establishes the Lord’s order in the world and you see it answered.

Alas the enemy has convinced many that unless a man/ woman of God hears for them, they are not able to hear God. It is not new because Israel errored in the same manner when they couldn’t stand the responsibility and the weight that comes from hearing God (Exodus 20:19Exodus 20:19And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. and requested that Moses may stay the intermediary.

Child of God, your adoption into God’s kingdom through Christ and in salvation gives you access as a son. The grace of priesthood and kingship grants you without fail, dominion and power in this same realm. To insist of intermediaries is aiming low. Train your spirit to receive from God, through the counsel of His word and all that is in consonance with it.

And finally, let the ministration and exhortation of the Holy Spirit be your most prized possession, for He alone searches the depths of God . Hallelujah!

Prayer: Father I thank you for this wisdom. My heart yields to all occasions through which it is poured out to me, and my mind is attentive and fully engaged to the counsel it provides. I lack in no good or perfect gift for you who owns it instruct my destiny. All glory and honor to you, now and forevermore, in Jesus’ name.
