”Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it. They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.“
Every man and woman that has been created by God, whether they acknowledge Him or not, innately knows what is bad from what is good. Nobody ever teaches us to feel things like shame, or guilt, or anger and the likes.
What happens though, is if one is in the habit of continuously ignoring that innate sense / nudge that tells them this is wrong this is right, it becomes close to nonexistent. And the Bible calls such absence of moral conscience “God delivering up one to themselves”
In our theme scripture, Paul is telling us that obedience is very pivotal concerning God’s approval and entreaty of one. A man might not necessarily be saved, but strives to respond to that innate sense of good or bad and in there prove or respond to God better than one who is saved but secretly indulging the flesh.
The Kingdom of God is often likened to land, and most things are based on the seed time and harvest principle. Everything you sow in obedience shall produce its fruit of obedience, and everything you sow in rebellion shall also bear its fruit in itself for God cannot be mocked
Child of God, be not of those that choose to minister to their lusts for all men know good from evil. Let there be a hearty hatred in your heart for error, especially those things that grieve the spirit of God in you. Such is the sanctification that makes us holier, just as Our Father in heaven is
Prayer: Father I thank you for this word. I thank you that your word is written on the tablets of mine and every man’s heart, even those that never heard it. This is evidence that all men were made in your likeness and the salvation of those that are not under this covenant comes by hearing this message. Help me therefore represent your kingdom in all that I do, that I may not bring reproach to it and keep at bay those that should come in for you desire that all men be saved, in Jesus name. Amen!
