”But I said, “Hold it, Master God! Look at me. I don’t know anything. I’m only a boy!”
Jeremiah 1:6 MSG

Jeremiah was only a teenager when God called Him. This is not a foreign pattern to God because it is never about the credentials of a man but their heart posture and their willingness to obey.

God cannot demand anything of you that He has not already set you up to triumph. We ought to understand that ‘before we were formed in our mother’s womb, He knew us and had assigned us’. Therefore, we are here to fulfill a fate that has been determined as an extension of the Master Builder Himself. Selah!

Child of God, this is why when you disobey an instruction of the Lord, your life begins to be distasteful. It becomes difficult to navigate through the processes of life because you are choosing to stand outside of everything that has been purposed for you to perform, and in which you were already set up for triumph.

Do not therefore say I am poor, sick, young, old, barren, tired, not eloquent— the list is inexhaustible. Understand first that it is not about you, but He who is in you (1John 4:4). It is He who has already won, who has finished it before the foundation of time (Revelation 13:8). You stand as a manifestation, an extension, and a carrier of all that He finished! Hallelujah. Rejoice! Hallelujah!

Prayer: Father, I thank you for this word. I thank you for the blessed opportunity to be a vessel through which you manifest your multifaceted divinity and sovereignty. I hold no such honor lightly, neither do I wish to be found wanting in such great a calling. Deal with me that I may be found worthy of such a calling, to the glory of your name. Amen!
