OF INTEGRITY
“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.” Proverbs 10:9 NIV
Integrity is the quality of being upright—holding strong, undivided moral principles and living by them consistently.
In some Middle Eastern nations, particularly around the Arabian Peninsula, integrity is so deeply honored that million-dollar deals can be sealed with a simple handshake. Both parties trust one another and remain bound to their word. If men who do not know the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob can uphold such a godly principle, how much more should those of us who are His children? As believers, we live with the awareness that we always have an Audience of One.
Whether behind closed doors or in the public eye, whether recognized or unseen, we live under a greater covenant—one marked by divine enablement: “In Him we live and move and have our being.” Let this mind be in you, the same that was in Christ Jesus, as you walk as an ambassador of His Kingdom.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for this truth. I uphold integrity with great care, knowing that above all, I am divinely enabled to live a life that gratifies Your Spirit in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
