OF STABILITY
“Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.”
If you look around in the world presently, there has never been a time that the foundations of the world have been shaken as this.
There is a rise of moral decay as we have not seen before, economies fluctuating, political turmoil leading up to the most irrational decisions, confusion in what is right or wrong, true or untrue, corruption both moral and resource wise — the list is endless.
But there is a flip side to all this, that is the life of the believer. Any man that has accepted the life of being led by the spirit of the Lord is capable of withstanding sickness, shining in darkness, thriving in a time of business upheaval, possessing a strong marriage that raises godly seeds because all things belong to God and in Him all things have life.
In our theme scripture, this is what the psalmist alludes to, this why our lives are immovable for our hope is in one that never fails or changes; and through the wisdom He imparts through Christ, we gain strength to maintain what He gives.
Child of God, dare not attempt to sustain by the flesh what began in the spirit, and attribute not to the spirit what began in the flesh. Praise God.
Prayer: Father I thank you for this word. Thank you for the stability in the wisdom of your counsel. My ears are not dull of hearing neither is my heart hardened toward your word. For this reason I am not a victim of circumstances for I have built my house on the rock that is Christ that you may be glorified in me, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
