OUR ADOPTION 

“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.” Galatians 4:4-5 NKJV

The epistle to the Galatians were mainly for tutoring the judaizers who still believed that salvation couldn’t be received unless the law’s demands were fulfilled.

Paul’s good news however was simple, that Christ’s death and resurrection brought salvation to all those who believe Him through faith. As we reflect on the miracle of Christ’s birth, God incarnate and living among men, the wonder of the nativity is beyond just festivities and commercials but the greatest gift ever given.

Thanks be to Christ that we are sons and daughters of God through faith.

Prayer: Father I thank you for the indescribable gift that is Christ. I thank you for the gift of sonship I received through Him and live to share this good news to all those who will believe, to the glory of your name. Amen!
