REST FOR THE WEARY

“But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.” Malachi 4:2 NKJV

When you walk in reverence toward the Lord, His promise rises like dawn after a long night, the Sun of Righteousness Himself. This is not just light breaking through darkness, but Christ coming to restore, warm, and heal.

Many are overwhelmed by invasive thoughts or lose the desire to live because they lack the peace that surpasses understanding. This “healing in His wings” points to more than physical mending; it speaks of the wholeness His presence alone brings.

Those who revere Him are not weighed down by despair or uncertainty. They are lifted by Christ’s nearness, like calves set free to run, nourished and overflowing with life. To fear Him is not to cower, but to honor Him: to put Him first, trust His Word, and rest in His finished work.

Such a posture opens the way to His freedom, vitality, and abundance. Child of God, when His healing touches you, you do not merely survive, you flourish. Fear turns to joy, weariness to strength, emptiness to life, and you are released into a freedom only He can give.

Lift your eyes to the rising Sun of Righteousness. See His wings stretch over every wound, disappointment, and dry place. His light does not simply shine upon you, it renews you. Hallelujah!

Prayer: My Lord, I thank You that You are my Sun of Righteousness. Shine upon every area of my life, and bring Your healing where I am weak, hurting, or weary. Teach me to walk in the reverence of Your name, trusting that Your presence will bring restoration and life. Help me flourish in Your light, free and full, for Your glory. Amen.
