THE HOPE OF FAITH

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1 NIV

Abraham held onto the promise of a city built by God (Genesis 12), becoming father of many nations and followed God into the unknown.

As a human being, there’s no doubt that there were days when nothing made sense and the promises of God seemed insane. But Abraham remained faithful and believed that God would do what He said. As believers, we have this mandate to believe to the end. While some things may not manifest in our lifetime, God is all knowing and His thoughts are greater than ours.

By reason of this, we may interpret certain promises as our own, while in His bigger picture it is an impartation for our children and their children and to us a blueprint in the way to raise and lead them (Proverbs 22:6).

Child of God never let situations and the enemy bully you into unbelief and deferred trust in your heavenly Father! Even death is not the end of our hope for we have eternity to be all that He has intended for us. Praise Him!

Prayer: Father I thank you for this word. You have been faithful to your people from the start, and I have confidence that you will be faithful until the very end. When in doubt, please give me assurance. I submit my will to yours and offer my faith in surrender. May you bless the people through my obedience and because of your faithfulness, in Jesus name. Amen!
