”Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.“
Ecclesiastes 9:10 NKJV

One of the things that will always be relevant to the realm of the spirit is excellence and consistency. Whether you have a five minutes task or three year assignment, do it well — even as unto the Lord (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Christians don’t always seem aware of this fact. Many times some claim to rely on the grace of God not as the vindictive power of God it is supposed to be for those with understanding of who they are in Christ, but as a means to justify their laziness or lack of zeal to do well.

If you study the man Jesus, though He was fully God and fully man, He never counted equality with God a thing to be grasped (Phil 2:13). If its prayer He prayed, work He worked, serving He served.

Everything that demanded human diligence, He applied himself and did it well. If God in the body did this, how much more you, child of God? Paul says the pagans blaspheme the name of God because of us believers (Romans 2:24).

Let this not be our report. Let all men look at your work, whether in the house of God or for your earthly masters and say truly this is a godly man/ woman. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Father I thank you for this wisdom. I apply my self to excellence in all that I do and it will not be said of me that I put your name to shame with my attitude and behavior towards my work or tasks assigned to me. It is so in the name of our Lord Jesus, Amen!
