WAITING & TRUSTING

“At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes,” says the Lord.” Zephaniah 3:20 NIV

As children of God, we are no strangers to waiting.

In the Old Testament, Israel waited through trials and exile for the fulfillment of God’s promises, including the coming of the Messiah. It wasn’t easy, and many struggled with impatience and disobedience, yet God never stopped warning them or offering redemption to the faithful remnant. Today, what was once a future promise is now fulfilled in Christ. We may grow weary as we wait for God to fulfill His promises in our own lives, but the same God who kept His word through Christ is the one who holds our future.

He is the author and finisher of our faith. Though waiting can feel heavy, remember that God is also the master of time, and He will fulfill His promises, making His time the perfect timing.

Trust Him—His restoration will make all things worth the wait. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Father, thank You for this blessing. Your promises are true, and my response is Amen. I trust in You, not leaning on my own understanding, for You have proven faithful time and again. Strengthen my heart when I am weary and fill my soul with the remembrance of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
