ONENESS WITH CHRIST (II)

“I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name. I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one.”
1 John 2:12-13 NIV

It is pride for a man to hold a sin against another because you have been forgiven for Christ’s sake yourself.

This does not just apply to one man and another, it goes for one forgiving themselves too. Many people hold their own sins against themselves even when they have repented. Child of God whether it is you, or another, you have no right to hold your own or another’s sin against them if God has forgiven them. And even if he hadn’t, judgement belongs to Him alone.

We are more than conquerors through Christ who LOVED us ( Romans 8:37).

Prayer: Father I thank you for this word. I pray for my heart, that it may be yielded fully to your holy spirit which alone is able to do the works of love that proceed from you. Help me bear with my brothers and sisters in love, and to receive continuously of the grace you have freely given us, in Jesus name. Amen!

CI.
