Have you ever pondered the fact that the greatest and most influential man to ever live never wrote a book, held an office, had any credentials or degrees, owned any mansions or rolled any carpets.
Jesus radically transformed the world in three short years of serving and thirty scant years of life. His way was unlike any other, he served, he loved, he forgave, and taught. It is a marvel to see how most people spend their lives modeling their own after success as defined by different titles and credentials yet the one outliving all of them stuck to a simple way.
Child of God, take an inventory of your life today and seek after those things that testify of the great love which you have received and which consequently ought to flow from you. It is after such things that we truly live as children of God, who bear His very spirit in us (1 John 3:9).
Prayer: Father I thank you for this wisdom. I am called and equipped for excellence in all that I set out to do because I know you intimately. My communion with your spirit is the source of all prowess, that your name may be glorified. Amen!
