PURSUIT OF FAITH
“Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past,” Romans 16:25 NIV
After confessing Christ as Lord and Savior, being planted in a church community, serving in the house of the Lord as the spirit leads you, every man should cherish above all the pursuit of their relationship with God.
The vessels of the Lord are still humans, capable of sin, falling short, making mistakes and all the in between that befalls men — but His Word remains true from age to age.
When Paul exhorts the Roman church, he emphasizes that He alone is able to establish you in accordance to the Gospel. This means, even when men fall short, the word will still reroute you to truth, but who can stand if they do not know the word for themselves?
How will you know a prophet is true or false of you have no standard by which you may weigh them? It is only by the word, for the scriptures say “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God”.
Child of God, in all you do, acquaint yourself wholeheartedly with His Word. Praise God!
Prayer: Father I thank you for this wisdom. I am given to your word wholly and I am transformed daily by its power and wisdom. My path shines brighter and brighter for the master of the universe guides me personally. To you belong all glory, honor and praise Jesus mighty name, Amen!
