There are a lot of things happening in the world, and even in the church that would rightfully leave every man that has any form of righteousness by God flabbergasted and with many questions.
The prophets of old and the fathers in the new covenant have prophesied such times, where men will only listen to what they want to hear, will put a lot of work into the outward appearance more than the glorification of their God through purity and denial of evil or its appearance and all of that is unfolding before the eyes of those spiritually mature.
Child of God it is not big things that lead to the fall of mighty name. Your choices that exalt Christ may seem repulsive, sometimes even boring but the reward is nothing in comparison to the present growth pains What pierces the soul is not your report!
You have the HOLY SPIRIT of God in you. He alone searches the mind of God, and deep inside if you abide in truth, your conscience will never fail to hear Him say “this is the way, walk in it” . Do not harden your heart or close your ears, do not also seer your conscience that both truth and lies fall on the same hard ground.
Yours is a story of triumph. Yours is a story of obedience. Yours is faith that produces results, and results that glorify the God of heaven and earth! Hallelujah.
Prayer: Father, I thank you for this word. I obey the counselor which you have ordained for my increase. It is not in me to reject sound counsel. I love, hear, obey, and do what you call me to. I am persuaded that the same Christ who began this good work in me is a finisher of all you entrust to Him. To this I know, he will also perfect what concerns me, to the glory of your name, AMEN!
