RIGHTEOUS JUDGE
The gift David is to the body of Christ cannot be put into words. The psalms are a sum of all possible human emotions and contentions of the heart everyone feels, whether rich or poor, black or white, whatever culture or religion.
If you read the book of Kings, you will trace through countless opportunities which David had to take revenge on Soul, but in all of them, he refused to touch the king regardless of his rejected position. He still held the office as king and that pleased the Lord about David’s heart. Child of God, whatever the circumstance is for you in this hour, when you choose to not resort to carnal manners, take revenge in your hands or attempt to vindicate yourself, the Lord takes delight in fighting your battles. He sees His own image in you, and no amount of victory can overpower such a knowing!
Lean your trust entirely on the Lord, his countenance will ever remain on you. Hallelujah!
Prayer: Father I thank you for this wisdom. I am confident that He who fights my battles knows only how to win. I make a habit of praising and worshipping when it is hardest for I know you sit enthroned in the praises of your people. It shall be said of me that my sacrifice was of worship, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
