RIGHTEOUSNESS IMPUTED
“Whether a man is circumcised or uncircumcised is meaningless to me. What really matters is the transforming power of this new creation life. And all those who live in agreement with this standard will have true peace and God’s delight, for they are the Israel of God.” Galatians 6:15-16 TPT
The glory of the New Testament believer lies in his faith in the one true God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
No matter how devout your religious practices, how frequently you attend fellowship, or how much time and resources you dedicate—if you lack the understanding of the new birth, all your efforts are in vain. The reality of the new birth is that the One you have believed in and followed produces the work of grace in and through you, simply as you abide in Him. Any doctrine that suggests you must earn this grace through works is a doctrine of deception.
The evidence of a regenerated life is seen in the rest and freedom that come from the deep assurance of Christ’s finished work. May this truth become a reality in your life, as you experience the peace of God and bear the fruit of the Spirit.
Prayer: Father, I thank you for this truth. I rest in the finished work of Christ, confident that as He is, so I am. As I endure the sure tribulations in the world, I am confident in the depth of your love and grace for me. May the meditations of my heart, and words of my mouth be pleasing unto you, in Jesus name. Amen!
