THE END RESULT OF FAITH
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9 NIV
While we are still in the world, we will see and endure tribulations. It is a guarantee, so much so that Christ assured us that it will happen but that He had conquered the very world that hosts the tribulation in the first place (John 16:33).
I often hear believers say ‘if I had more faith for this, or that this would have happened’, but the end result of faith is not what material benefits you gain from it or satisfying achievements such as spouses, children, degrees, status etc. The end result of faith is the salvation of your soul. When a man is saved, he is in the shelter of the most high. He is bought a price that speaks better things than anything else in this world – the blood of Jesus Christ. While sanctification is the process that follows this decision, its goal is to align you to divine purpose and to the principles of the new family you were adopted into. Salvation is what grants you permission for entry!
Child of God, never desire the benefits of salvation outside of it for that leads only to deception. When your soul is saved, nothing you desire in this world has power to destroy or distract you because the spirit of God is at work in you aligning your heart to yours . Desire most, the weightier matters of the spirit.
If you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, and you feel that this is the perfect time, pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I thank you because you died for my sins and you were raised for my glory. Today, I receive you as my Lord and Savior. I am born again. Amen.”
