“I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.” Isaiah 45:3 NIV

There often is a lot of ambiguity as to what a secret place really is, but in simpler terms the secret place is where you commune with God best. Some have turned their cars into mobile sanctuaries, they worship and pray on their commute, for some its their bedrooms, for others its a prayer room at church, others find solace during their exercise at the gym, or a walk at the park.

Whatever it is that works for you, as long as you are able to commune with the Lord in the quietness of your spirit, that is your secret place. With that in mind, our theme scripture speaks of treasures and riches stored in the secret places. This is not a treasure hunt of some kind child of God, it is the availed riches for you to be found when you pray!

Some live in perpetual expectancy of an audible voice, a shooting star or a burning bush, not that God wouldn’t use these, but none is above his word and the posture of dependency that prayer sets your heart up for. The next time you are sincere about hearing his voice, start with prayer and open His word after that. He SPEAKS! Hallelujah.

Prayer: Father I thank you for this truth. I thank you for the grace of prayer. I thank you for the Holy spirit that teaches and guides me into all truth! It will be said of me that I move with precision because you lead me in all my ways in the secret place, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
