THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7 NIV
One of the major attributes of the spirit of God is that it is not wanting in any way, it knows the bottomless things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10), searches the hearts (Romans 8:10) and makes intercession.
By reason of that, anyone who is led by this same spirit has the ability to excel without limitations if humbled and willing to ask and receive. If you know you struggle with timekeeping for example, pray to the spirit of excellence to assist you in this matter.
If you have difficulty understanding what modesty should look like for you and maybe the rules around you seems simply rigid or un-relatable, the spirit is perfectly able to speak to your heart as you shop or upon putting on a particular outfit.
Truth is, He was given you as a teacher, helper, comforter, counsellor, strengthener, advocate, intercessor, standby (John 14:26). These functions were not given limitations; consequently only you can limit the help you want to receive by not asking or acknowledging His wisdom and care for you.
Child of God, ask and you shall receive. There is no excuse to tolerate mediocrity when the most excellent spirit lives in you! Praise the Lord.
Prayer: Father I thank you for this truth. I am deeply and wholly helped of God by the Holy spirit. I work redeeming the time and leaving room for divine interruptions. I am able to foresee evil and hide for He knows all things and fastens certainty. My heart remains soft and malleable toward Him that I may glorify you in all my endeavors, in Jesus name. Amen!
