USEFUL PRAYER TOOLS: ACTING OUT YOUR FAITH (IV)

“Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband,” says the Lord. “Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense!” Isaiah 54:1-2 NLT

I have labored for the last few days to offer a structure that can help the intentional seeker redeem the time and attain godly results through prayer, and this would be incomplete if we do not emphasize the importance of walking the talk.

Imagination is the primary engagement that enables you to envision the worlds you do not see that the substance of your faith may be relevant (Hebrews 11:3). Compassion tethers your heart to what moves God’s and sieves through what could possibly be the desires of the flesh (John 7:17).

Gratitude positions you in the place of one who has, through the understanding of the finished work of Christ that you may abound in every good work (Romans 8:37). Finally, acting out your faith not only preserves you from the distractions of what is not yet happening, but it confirms that you live by faith and not sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)and even though you are in the world, you are not of it (John 17:16).

Much like our theme scripture, the Lord asks a childless woman to stretch her tents because the children she will have are without number, and we live in this fulfilled promise to this day, as children to Sarah & Abraham. Look into your meditations, compassionate petitions, sacrifices of gratitude and walk in line with what you have believed.

This, child of God, is the mark of distinction that separates you from those whose faith is not complete. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Father I thank you for this wisdom. I thank you for your love that furnishes me in all things. I thank you for your word that does not return void but accomplishes all that you command it. I exercise my faith with all diligence because I have judged Him that promises faithful, in Jesus name. Amen.
