WALKING WITH GOD

“The Lord replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.” Exodus 33:14 NLT

Most of you that have been in the faith for sometime are familiar with men walking with God. Moses was a peculiar example, who God said He spoke to face to face and not in dark speeches (Numbers 12:7). What set Moses apart was his servant heart. He knew God intimately, there was no similar anointing to his in his time, and because of his brokenness before his God, He set him above any of his peers who were also prophetic and wise in the word.

In our theme scripture, when God says I will personally go with you, He means his presence, his face shall go watching over every endeavor He sent Moses to. Any man that has learnt to commune with God not for what He gets from it but to simply know Him, and feel after His heart (Acts 17:27) will find rest. It doesn’t matter if they are in the midst of their biggest transition, if they are in the thick of their harshest tribulation, if everything surrounding them seems to disagree with God’s promises, their soul shall be at peace and peace is God given rest.

Child of God, seek His face. Jesus concludes in Matthew 6:33, seek first His kingdom and his righteousness and everything else will be added unto you. There is no principle that bypasses this to achieve the same result! Seek the Lord, I say. Praise God!

Prayer: Father I thank you for this truth. The scriptures say you reward those who diligently seek you and I am living proof of your unending goodness and mercy toward mankind! I seek your face in all that I do for I know you are the light that guides my steps, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
