WORK IN PROGRESS
“I am sure that the good work God began in you will continue until he completes it on the day when Jesus Christ comes again.” Philippians 1:6 ERV
By definition, the word perfection means: the condition, state, or quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects.
When it comes to faith, some unbelievers are deceived into thinking they must reach a certain level of perfection before following Christ. Others believe they have already attained perfection and distance themselves from those they deem different. The truth lies in understanding that salvation is a gift—one we could never earn.
A true believer recognizes this grace, treasures it daily, and extends it to others. Child of God, our journey with Christ is an ongoing one, and until He returns, He is continually working in us, shaping us into His likeness.
Let Him complete what He has started, to the glory of His name. Praise Him !
Prayer: Loving Father, thank You for the grace that saves and transforms us. Help us to trust in Your ongoing work in our lives and extend the same grace to others. Keep us humble, patient, and ever mindful that we are all works in progress until Christ returns. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
