EQUIPPING THE CALLED (III)
“But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.” Philippians 3:16 NLT
Finally after hearing the word concerning the divine enablement that hedges us from all sides, let us submit ourselves to every attempt to maintain what we have apprehended by the spirit.
It is one thing to have head knowledge, but it is much more precious when it sinks in your heart and overflows in your character as second nature. Paul speaks of holding on to the progress we have made because a man can preach all he wants but if his actions conflict with his words then he brings reproach to himself and to that which He claims to believe.
Child of God, it must be said of your life to be an outward declaration of an inward confession for blessed are the feet of He that brings good news! Hallelujah.
Prayer: Father I thank you for this truth. I apply my self to every command and precept that comes from your mouth. I delight in obeying your laws because it gives me subtlety where others are simple and prudence where others may be distracted. Because of hearing your truth, I am above only and never beneath, to the glory of your name, Amen!
