ETERNAL SENSE
“Death and destruction are never filled, and the desires of men’s hearts are insatiable.” Proverbs 27:20 TPT
In Ecclesiastes 3:11, the Bible speaks of a sense of eternity that God has put in us, which only He can satisfy.
This sense of eternity is the reason both God and the enemy are after our hearts, the only difference is that one has the capacity to fill it up while the other only carries the deception of filling it up yet cannot.
In our theme scripture, the wise man reiterates the same truth, that the desires of our hearts are not designed to be sated until the day of Christ. That is why too much of everything, without the wisdom of God who alone satisfies, renders all things detrimental.
Be wise and teachable in such matters child of God, and look only to God to fill the gaps that may be present in your life, regardless of how much you have or have not. Praise Jesus!
Prayer: Father I thank you for this word. I delight in knowing you alone can be trusted for all that I need for life and godliness. I rejoice in leaning entirely on your spirit to will and do according to your pleasure , in Jesus name. Amen!
