EXPECTING RIGHT

”For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.“ 2 Corinthians 3:11 NKJV

As a believer, you should live in a perpetual expectance of good to come, until the day of Christ.

It is unfortunate that the New Testament believers have a much harder time believing God for the miraculous, the impossible, the timeless yet we live in oneness with Him through Christ Jesus.

Paul writes in our theme scripture that if we drop jaws at the glory displayed in the past through scripture, what is there for you and I to experience is much more glorious.

This is the kind of text that calls us higher, to desire things beyond what non-believers get without need to believe, the kind of demands that can only be placed on love (agape) and not time and chance.

The next line says ‘because of such hope that we have, we use great boldness of speech’. It is this confidence that permits us to ask for nations. It is this hope that makes you confident in your  calling and election, enabling you to walk in every room conscious that the King of the universe lives on the inside of you. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Father I thank you for this wisdom. I carry the understanding that enables me to draw wisdom, counsel and courage no matter what comes my way. I hold fast to your promise of your plans towards me being of good and not harm, of a future and hope, and I live my life positioning my self for the next oracle sent to advance me, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

CI.
