GOOD SHEPHERD (I)
“The Lord is my shepherd; I have what I need.” Psalms 23:1 CSB
A good shepherd does three things for his flock: feeds, guides and shields.
Your spirit needs nourishment, your soul needs to be guided into truth, and your body needs to be shielded.
A shepherd after the Lord’s heart sees to it that all three are catered to in a balanced manner that the man of God may be furnished perfectly (2 Timothy 3:17). Child of God, such is the Lord’s heart for you and such should be the heart of every minister that is sent and assigned by Him.

Prayer: Father I thank you for this truth. I thank you for the spiritual leaders you have placed on my path. Strengthen their hearts in your ways, and grant me the grace to honor them in all my ways, that they may do their duty without grief, to the glory of your name. Amen!
