OF CLARITY
“Therefore, let all of us who are mature think this way. And if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you.” Philippians 3:15 CSB
Our God is not an author of confusion. What you care about, He cares about.
Paul writes this letter to the church in Philippi encouraging them not to get entangled in senseless doctrines and rituals that are supposedly intended to make them more acceptable to God; yet Christ has accomplished that for all those who believe.
In our theme scripture, he ends his exhortation to us saying that maturity looks like understanding what has been done for us by Christ, not adding or removing to it but walking and growing in it.
If there be any confusion, you have the Holy Spirit, who is the very spirit of God at work even in Christ to teach you and remind you of all Christ taught .
Above all, you have a more sure word of prophecy (2 Peter 1:19), which is the very word of God, to fully furnish and equip you in all good and perfect ways. To God be the glory, honor and praise for his ever present help in time of need. Hallelujah!
Prayer: Father I thank you for this word. I am persuaded both by your word and first hand experience that I have all the answers and help I need through the Holy Spirit and his counsel. I walk through life confidently knowing that I have all that I need for life and godliness regardless of the threatening circumstances, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
