STABILITY IN TIMES OF TRIAL

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7 NIV

The armor of God is something we are all too familiar with, if you have been a believer for a moment.

Paul writes that our feet must be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15). Your whole body is kept stable by your legs, and the same way your spirit is kept fit by the word of God which is its chief nourishment. That is why it is imperative for every child of God to be more than acquainted with the word of God.

The greatest deception is when you are at a point of thinking it hard, difficult to understand or to apply. Just as no one can eat food and digest but you are filled, so it is with the word. You get through by going through. Be a lover of the Word!

Praise the Lord.

Prayer: Father I thank you for this word. Like Job said, I have esteemed your words more than my necessary food. I live off every word that comes from your mouth above all else, in Jesus mighty name.

CI.
