THE 7 SPIRITS OF GOD
“The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord— and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;” Isaiah 11:2-3 NIV
In our journey as those who are being sanctified for the day of Christ, scripture presents us with the concepts of the spirit in which we are being established.
A people blameless, spotless and without wrinkle is what Christ is coming back for and the prophet Isaiah has laid out what that looks like. To exalt the holy spirit, to be endowed with wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and most importantly the fear of the Lord.
Child of God, this is our gentle reminder not to resist or reject anything that pushes us toward the perfecting and strengthening of these aspects listed above. If it be pain, suffering, correction, waiting, hoping, trusting — let those be the waves that push us toward the rock which is Christ the King.

Prayer: Father I thank you for this word. You are my dwelling place and the more I search out the treasures of your kingdom the more I take delight in the fear of the Lord. I am grateful for the gift of salvation and all that it has made available for my sake, in Jesus name. Amen!
