THE GIFT OF THE PROCESS (I)

“Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him” Hebrews 5:8-9 NIV

We are all uniquely gifted, created in God’s likeness with the ability to create, think, and execute.

Because of this ability, many are able to hone skills and excel in different crafts through various means, whether its learning it in school, peer to peer, training or self-teaching through the myriad of resources on the internet. But some things, like character, endurance , perseverance, obedience, submission, are a product of a process; especially if it touches your calling and assignment.

God is not in a hurry to get you somewhere or somethings without first building the necessary character in you to withstand every test and trial that comes with the said responsibility. Many want instant success, covet particular individuals who seem to excel in some degree but do not desire to pay the price of the process.

That should not be so with you, Child of God. If anything, love the process more than you love its end result because the end is ultimately dependent upon the quality of the process and your heart posture throughout. Praise the Lord!

Prayer: Father, I thank you for this truth. I understand that consecration precedes anointing and I am yielded to the process and its purpose. Strengthen me in my inner man, to abide and obey as led by your spirit, in Jesus name. Amen!
