THE IMPORTANCE OF SOLID RELATIONSHIPS
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NLT
Friendship is a universal tie that most demonstrates our likeness and relationship to our creator.
Many people that fall into major scandals generally have neglected the hard work of building relationships with people who will not hesitate to tell them when they are straying.
As children of God, the Bible reminds us that “in the multitude of counselors, there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14). Make a conscious effort to surround yourself with people who will hold you accountable, affirm you when you’re struggling, and encourage you when fear threatens to stop you from pursuing God’s calling.
Praise God!
Prayer: Father, I thank you for this wisdom. I thank you for the gift of friendship and community. I thank you for the relationships you make way for in my life, and yield them to you that out of them may be a lasting impact on generations. May we be remembered to have been faithful and loyal to your holy spirit as David’s mighty men, in Jesus name. Amen!
