THE LORD’S FAITHFULNESS
“Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.” Psalms 144:1 NIV
David was refused to build the temple because as a man of war, he had shed much blood (2 Samuel 7). The Lord however had been with him giving him victories all around, nonetheless.
If the Lord is faithful enough to assist in such unspiritual matters such as war, what makes you think that He wouldn’t stand by you as you build a ministry that is to win souls? A marriage that is to glorify Him? Raise children in His ways that may be godly seed unto Him? In all circumstances child of God, thank Him for who He is.
Thank Him for His mercy because it is for them alone that we are not consumed (Lamentations 3:22).
Prayer: Father I thank you for your goodness and mercy. I thank you for your justice as judge over all. Give me vision that sees like you do, wisdom that understands your ways and above all a heart that longs to do your will. To you belong all glory and honor, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
