THE PATH OF THE JUST

“They preached the gospel in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.” Acts 14:21-22 NIV

The earthly journey of Jesus Christ reveals the devastating impact of sin on our world.

If the sinless Son of God was hated, blasphemed, slandered, insulted, and ultimately crucified—despite His innocence—then we, too, should not be surprised when trials come our way.
In our theme scripture, we are reminded that hardship is not a sign of failure or divine displeasure, but often the result of our unwavering devotion to God’s kingdom. This is not to glorify pain or suffering, but to equip us with the mindset of those who already stand in victory. These trials are not optional—they are part of the path.

Beloved, whatever you are facing in this season, do not yield to fear or conform to the culture around you. You have not been given a spirit of fear or timidity, but one of power, love, and a sound mind. You carry within you the triumphant Spirit of Christ. And remember this: those who are with you are greater than those against you—if you believe it.

Prayer: Father, thank You for reminding me that hardship does not mean You are absent, but often that I am walking in step with Your will. Strengthen me to stand firm in faith, even when the road is rough. Teach me to face every trial with courage, knowing that victory is already mine in Christ Jesus. Help me to walk the path of the just with confidence, joy, and unshakable hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
