THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE CHOSEN
“Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.’ Daniel 7:27 NIV
When a ruling monarch sends an envoy to represent them, the envoy is typically granted authority to act on behalf of the monarch or government they represent whether its negotiating, communicating or making decisions within the scope of their instruction.
As children of God who are in the world but not of it, we carry a similar authority as it pertains addressing particular issues in our current affairs that defy God’s authority as one who is sovereign over the world He created. It is our responsibility to spiritually communicate to the rulers and authorities of the age what the sovereign has established and execute judgement on whatever and whoever unrepentantly goes against divine truth and order.
As it is written “sovereignty, power and greatness has been handed to God’s Holy People“; and you are God’s Holy people! Hallelujah.
Prayer: Father, I thank you for this wisdom. I am empowered and equipped by your Holy Spirit to execute judgement to anything that is not in alignment with your will. Open my eyes to see beyond the physical in every situation that I may remain effective in my collaboration — in Jesus name. Amen!
