THE STRONGEST WEAPON
“The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.” Psalms 118:24 NIV
There is a lovely song that says “praise is the highway to the throne of God”.
There are experiences that no matter what I do, I can’t pray my self out of, but somehow praising works. Of course this is part of the curriculum of the kingdom of God, in which all things are opposite to what our carnal mind wants or thinks to do, making it seem foolish (1 Corinthians 1:20).
Child of God, in the face of adversity, consider David. A king who danced with all his might in all circumstances and who is remembered to be the man with God’s heart (2 Samuel 6:14).
This is a strategy that you may not grasp with your mind, yet one in which the Lord is enthroned. If he says he has done it today, believe his word over your circumstances. Hallelujah!
Prayer: Father I thank you for this wisdom. I know that praise is the greatest weapon there is in your kingdom. As the prophet foretold, you are enthroned in my praise, and I give it without restraint because I know the one who fights for me knows only how to win. To you belong all glory, honor and praise now and forevermore. Amen!
